Curated Long Island is a small family business based on Long Island, New York. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or order from shopcuratedlongisland.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfill it:

- Your order details and order history
- Payment confirmation — we never see or store your full card number
When you contact us through our form, we collect your name, email address and the message you send.
Like most websites, we also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and working properly.

- To send order confirmations and shipping updates

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below who help us run the shop.
Who we share it with
- Payment processors — to take payment securely. They handle your card details directly; we never receive them.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your parcel, which requires your name and address.
- Our website host — the servers that store the site and its orders.
- Email providers — to send you order and inquiry emails.
If the law requires us to disclose information, for example in response to a valid legal request, we will.
Cookies

We keep order records for as long as we are legally required to for tax purposes, typically seven years. Contact form messages are kept while they are useful for supporting you, and deleted when they are not. You can ask us to delete your information sooner where the law allows.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
