Our Story
It began with a gift
Curated Long Island did not begin with a business plan.
When Chip surprised his fiancée, Stefanie, with candle-making equipment, he simply wanted to encourage something that had sparked her interest.
Stefanie fell in love with the craft. Chip invested in her passion, learned alongside her, and helped turn early ideas into real products.
Somewhere along the way, it stopped being only her dream. It became theirs.
The in-between hours
We are building Curated Long Island while balancing full-time careers and raising six children in a blended family. Much of the work happens in the in-between hours — around school runs, homework, dinner, and the late nights after the house finally goes quiet.
Every product carries a small part of that: a family choosing to make something together, one step at a time.

Every fragrance is selected deliberately, tested at home before it ever reaches the shop.

Poured, mixed and assembled in small batches from our studio in East Moriches — never mass-produced.

Packed by hand. Nothing leaves us until it meets the standard we would want in our own home.

Luxury, to us, is not about extravagance or pretending to be something we are not.
It is a standard we work toward through intentional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, carefully selected materials, consistency, and genuine care for every customer who chooses our work.

The gift that started all of this awakened a real love for the craft. Stefanie brings patience, creativity and hands-on care to everything we make, and looks after our customers herself.

What began as supporting Stefanie’s passion became his own. Chip shapes the vision, refines how everything looks and feels, and moves the business forward.
Behind them, a blended family of eight — and six very small quality-control inspectors.
